Learning unit contents
The private comparative law lectures will change subject from year to year. Il will study a legal institution in several legal systems, usually starting with the roman law. It may as well be that the subject is of pure roman law. For 2018-2019, the subject will be - unless another subject comes up until 2018 -: "The legal condition of women in Rome and today".

This course aims to study a legal topic in Roman Law and to compare with the modern situation.

Lectures will take place during the second semester.Students must be present at the lectures. The students will be asked to prepare a personal presentation on the main topic.

The procedure of the oral exam will be explained during the lectures.
