Learning unit contents
Part 1
The course deals with corporation law. Belgian companies code is the main focus. What is a company? Which are the different types of companies? What are the conditions to create such an entity? How does it work? What are the rights of the shareholders? How can it be terminated, etc. Here are examples of the questions that will be studied.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Part 1
The purpose of this course is to give students a good knowledge of the law applicable to companies, from their incorporation to their winding up, so that students will be able in the future to develop their knowledge in the field by themselves.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The course requires the knowledge of obligations law.

This course is mainly taught ex cathedra, numerous questions being also asked to the audience during the course.

Written exam online (open book, personal notes plus notes from the prof and code allowed). 20 short questions with short answers (less than three lines) during a period of one hour. Considering the length of the exam, the number and type of questions, one should have studied as if it was not an open book exam
