Learning unit contents

The first part describes the structure and the properties different classes of biomolecules: amino acids, proteins, enzymes, glucids, lipids and cofactors.
the scond part deals with the metabolic pathways involving thes biomolecules.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic knowledge of chemistry, organic chemistry and biology is required to follow biochemistry.

This is a face-to-face teaching using slides and schemes performed on the black board.

A syllabus is avaiable as well as the slides under a powerpoint presentation.

The content of the assessment of Augsut 2020 is identical to that of January 2020

Assessment methods

The assessment will contain open questions and QCM.
With a good answer, to the QCM you win +1 point, no response gives 0 point, and a false response will induce a penalty of -0.5 point. There will be only one correct answer for each question.
