This course combines a theoretical approach to the structures of modern Chinese with a focus on the practical dimensions of communication.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

"Langue chinoise III" aims at improving the communicational abilities of students as well as at improving their knowledge of the grammar of modern Chinese. It also aims at preparing students to pass the HSK level 2 and 3 by the end of the year.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

To have studied at least 120h of Chinese language course.

Adaptation of teaching commitments following the COVID-19 pandemic for the May-June 2020 session

Teaching methods implemented : distance-learning

The course combines online classes with a range of periodic tasks accomplished by students (written works chiefly, but also readings).
 
During online classes, the focus is put on strengthening skills in mastering of modern Chinese language grammar.
 
The students are encouraged to take part actively to the class through exercises focusing on the contents taught online.

Written exam. It will consist in a series of exercices aiming at assessing students' mastering of grammatical notions and Chinese language structures.
