Research and training

One observational internship (two expert assessments) and one participatory internship (completion of four expert assessments) At least one of the expert assessments must be carried out within the CPLU at the University of Liège with Prof. Blavier, Prof. Glowacz or Mme Louwette.

A research dissertation with a theoretical part on a specific theme (literature review and development of a scientific question), including in addition two skills focussing on different groups (children, delinquent adults, victims, neuropsychology, etc.) The dissertation is an original written document which must also be presented during an oral defence before a jury consisting of a minimum of three people.

Exams and assessments

Active participation in class is required, especially for classes in the psychology part where 80% attendance is required to access the assessment and the diploma. A written or oral exam will be organised for each module and an integrative oral exam will be held at the end of the training.

The overall assessment of the certificate will take into account the results of the first-year oral exams and the oral exams held at the end of each module, the result of the integrative test held at the end of the training, the placement supervisor's mark for the participatory internship as well as the mark given for the thesis (written work and oral defence).
Notice : The admissions committee may ask the students to take the courses "Delinquent personalities and delinquent trajectories" (PSYC1068, Prof. Glowacz) and "Psychotraumatism" PSYC0036, Prof. Blavier) during their training, as a corequisite, given to the master students.
