Learning unit contents
After the description of biochemical mechanism of toxicity of main chemical products, this course is dedicated to the study of action and side effects of drugs, drugs of abuse, volatile substances, heavy metals, pesticides, endocrine disruptors....
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The goal is to show to the students the multidisciplinarity of toxicolgical sciences.
1.Different chemical products (including drugs and drugs of abuse) which are at risk for human health;
2.Metabolism of xenobiotics, related to toxicity;
3. Monography of main classes of chemical xenobiotics (source of exposure, pharmacokinetics, toxicity)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
12,5 hours of practical sessions are organized on mondays and wednesdays, during 3 weeks,with :
- visit of routine laboratory;
- visit of forensic part of the laboratory;
- official method for blood alcohol determination
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Sessions of 90 -120 minutes, 1 to 2 times a week
