Learning unit contents

We will attempt to explain the diverse sociological approaches of the theater. We shall be interested in the audiences.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The student will be capable of envisaging a specific problem (the relation to the public, for example) by using the adequate methodological tools.

None.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course will take the shape of a seminar where the student will analyze ( oral and written exercises) the proposed documents.

The course will take place at the first semester.

The reading of the following book is required : Nancy DELHALLE, Théâtre dans la mondialisation. Communauté et utopie sur les scènes contemporaines, PULyon, 2017

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation will be based on oral analysis and a dissertation.
