Learning unit contents
This course will not be organised in 2016-2017.
The course is held every odd year (2017-2018, 2019-2020,...). The course will cover recent theories of the comparative approaches in public policy analysis : - reflexivity in comparative analysis - comparative analysis at international level; at european level; - methodologies : constructing comparability of analysis.

Develop a critical and methodological comeptence through comparative analysis

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Students have to analyse within a given sector of public policy a series of rapports of comparative analysis : they have to produce a (max.) 15 pages large written document with a critical presentation of the methodologies mobilised.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
lectures are organised on the basis of a series of articles and texsts (in French and English) Details concerning the lectures and the personal work will be provided during the introductory course.

A series of articles are referenced during the cours on My ULg the slides used during the lectures will be made available via My ULg
Assessment methods and criteria
oral examination : a discussion on the basis of the written report of the personal work; a question on the elements covered during the lectures (restitution) on basis of the reading file. 50% of the final evalution will be based on the personal work
