Learning unit contents
This seminar is in the form of a practical reflection workshop focused on the relations between humanities' subjects and topical issues.
There are two modules.
The first one involves external participants (artists, professionals, researchers), who are asked to question how their practice actualises the paradigm of the humanities, or how it makes problems that may initially appear foreign to them, relevant to the humanities.
In the second module, students are invited to take stock of the progress of their field investigation, the difficulties encountered, the work hypotheses, and the initial results.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The seminar allows students to have an overview of the different ways in which the humanities relate to current events.
It also allows them to share work in progress, and aims to develop reflective and communication skills, particular to team work.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Have a good grounding in the Philosophy and Letters subjects.
