Pregnancy:
Recall of pregnancy physiology
Planification of pregnancy care
Description and management of preexisting pathologies during pregnancy
Description and management of different foetal pathologies
Description and management of pregnancy related pathologies
Neonatology:
Physiology of neonatal change
Neonatal adaptation disorders and resuscitation at birth
Assessment and newborn disorders at maternity
Assessment and management of newborn disorders ambulatoire
Obstetric analgesia:
The course address and critically analyse the different analgesic techniques for delivery
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Pregnancy:
Learning pregnancy care
Learning the idendification of maternal preexisting pathologies that could interfere with pregnancy
Learning the identification of pregnancy related pathologies
Learning the reasoning process from symptoms to management during pregnancy
Neonatology:
To Understand the neanotalogy specicities and its place in public health
To know perinatal origin of future pathologies
To identify a situation of risk
To appropriately inform parents about newborn care
Obstetrical analgesia:
To describe the different obstetrical anelgesic techniques
To Balance between risks and benefits for each technique
To mention the indication and contreindication of the different obstetrical anlegesic techniques
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Co and pre-requisites are detailed in the general Master Medical formation (global course program).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
This module is multidisciplinary and consists of lectures, supplemented by several sessions of practical activities. Clinical formations are included in another course code and complete the diagnosis learning by a patient-centered approach.
