Learning unit contents

Study of the historical phonology and morphology of Greek and Latin languages. The only course which gives to the students in Classical Languages and Literatures a systematical account of the main characteristics of literary dialects.
Knowing these dialects is essential to read Greek literature from the origines to the Vth or IVth century, in fact the richest contribution of ancient Greek literature.

To help the students to explain the different Greek and Latin forms and to read works in Greek dialects.

Knowledge of Greek and Latin.
