Learning unit contents

Introduction to the research based on the case studies in Near Eastern history of art and archaelogy.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Introduction to the research by analysing a specific subject : Mesopotamia and ancient Iran (from the Uruk period to the third millennium BC.)

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

To have attended the general lecture during the 1st year of study entitled "History of art and archaeology : ancient Near East".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The students could present a lecture on proposed subjects.
Reading journal articles, books.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

face-to-face : 30 h during the 1st quadrimestre. Courses with "powerpoint".

Recommended or required readings

There will be no lecture notes.

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral test which consists in checking the capacity of analysis and synthesis.
