Learning unit contents
The course discusses the main techniques used in Space Geodesy and their applications in Earth Sciences: precise positioning, satellite orbit computation, mean sea level determination, geoid and gavimetric anomalies.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course gives an introduction to the main concepts and techniques used in Space Geodesy. The student will be able to define correctly these concepts, to explain the links between these concepts and to apply them to problems encountered in Geometrology.
