Learning unit contents
The course concerns the design of roads and other similar infrastructures. It contains the following facets:
- A presentation of the theory, the practical and abstract tools for the design and the dimansionnement of the roads
- Some invited lectures on the interactions with the town planning, the planning of transport etc.
- A visit of the BRRC, the Belgian Road Researches Center
- A group work of design of a road infrastructure (for example a traffic circle)
