Learning unit contents
The course deals with companies restructuring and reorganization, with a special focus, in 2016/2017, on three insolvency procedures : bankruptcy, restructuring procedure and winding-up of companies.
These procedures are studied through practical questions (what is the best way to sell the company? what are the protections of the creditors? what is the incompact of the procedures on pending proceedings? and so on), in order to stress their similarities and differences.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The purpose of this course is to introduce the students to the pratice of companies restructuring and reorganization, by showing them how to use the existing procedures as tools to solve concrete problems.

This course is mainly taught ex cathedra, numerous questions being also asked to the audience during the course.
