The CONSTRUCTION course for the 3rd year of the Bachelors course is part of the Bachelor's CONSTRUCTION course which forms an organised, structured and cohesive whole. The 3rd year Bachelor's CONSTRUCTION course - INSIDE THE SKIN OF A BUILDING: partitions, joins and finishes - address the following subjects over different sessions:
- "vertical" partitions inside a building, i.e. walls and internal partition walls as well as openings in them: internal doors;
- "horizontal" partitions inside a building, i.e. floors: different types of load-bearing floors are analysed in terms of coverings, from above using floor coverings and from below using false ceilings.
- the ways of joining spaces defined in this way, namely using stairs, elevators and the use of technical shafts.
The other sessions are dedicated to the timber construction, to the question of evacuating waste water buildings, issues relating to deep foundations and structural walls, and specific techniques involved in building renovation.
