Learning unit contents

The goal is to work as a professional, being coached by a professional.
Different options are suggested depending on the course the work placement is linked to.

  • In relation to the Introduction on the ICT in Education, the student(s) can build and put in action an activity integrating the use of ICT in a real learning context. They can also take part in the preparation and implementation of training related to the use of ICT (tablets, Interactive Whiteboard, educational robotics). Such courses are given by the CRIFA team or High School teachers.
  • In relation to the e-learning, networks and communities of practice course, the learners can participate to several types of actions such as the design and implementation of e-learning activities (at a distance or in face-to-face), e-tutoring, e-projects' management, ICT supported networking among professionals, creation and animation of communities of practice, etc. These actions are anchored in projects and training sessions managed the CRIFA team of the ULg or in other contexts.
  • In relation to the course Communication and medias, the learners can make an analysis of communicational or training situations and provide recommendations to the concerned  trainers or media users. They also can collaborate to the design and animation of training sessions organised by the CRIFA team or professors of Higher Education.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The course Introduction to ICTE is a prerequisite.

Assessment methods and criteria

The studends will be assessed on base of a report (20 pages) in which will be detailed, as deaply as possible, input of the internship in the schooling and input of the schooling in the work placement as well.
Preparation materials and documents are attached.
Besides the relevance of content, we will also evaluate the quality of drafting, the document structure and layout.
The supervisor will provide an appreciation of the work's quality of the internship.
