Learning unit contents
The surgical pathology of production animals was treated in this course. It contens lameness, digestive urinary and respiratory tract.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The general objective of this course is to enable students to visualize some surgeries and manage the most common surgical diseases of ruminants.
Specific learning objectives for this course is:
- Know the most common surgical pathologies
- Diagnose various surgical diseases of ruminants
- Establish a vital and economic prognosis
- Provide a surgical treatment depending on the disease.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Theoritical and practical knowledge in propedeutic, biology, surgical technic and anesthesia are considered as prerequisite.

Cadaver Lab
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
A power point courses was given and illustrated by movies.
