Learning unit contents
The seminar aims at linking the theoretical courses taken by the students as part of their cursus and the reality of the working world discovered in the context of their professional immersion but also at providing students with methodological tools neccesary to the building of a research process.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
By the end of the seminar, the student has to be able to indentify the different steps of a research process, to ask an adequate research question, to consult the literature, to problematize a research object and to choose an appropriate methodological approach and to conduct a research. He must also be able to observe a situation of concrete work encountered during his professional immersion.
Students have to be able to devise a report.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The lessons will be dedicated to:
- the research process;
- the literature review;
- the interview and the observation;
- the analysis of empirical data;
- the writing;
- the oral presentation.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Sessions in class and exercises outside the class.
The calendar and the instructions linked to the exercises are available on the e-Campus platform. This is also the main communication tool used to contact the teachers. Besides, the intermediary exercises must be uploaded on this platform.

- the assignments to be carried out throughout the academic year (25% of the final grade)

The seminar is organized
- on Thuesdays from 4 to 7pm during the first semester.
