Learning unit contents

The statistical software R, as well as various packages are viewed throughout the course. The course is taught at the same time as STAT0730-2. During the lectures, the statistical analysis methods presented in STAT0730-2 will be applied on real databases. Special attention will be given to the interpretation of the results provided by the software.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The main purpose of the course is to become familiar with the use of R.

A practice exam on computer. It lasts for about 2 hours and it will take place in January.
