Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Vectors, units, kinematics and Newton's laws.
Basic mathematics (algebra, analyse, elements of geometry and trigonometry) are also needed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

This learning unit make use of different leraning and teaching activities such as face-to-face courses and practical works where students are teached to the solving of exercices and the use of experimental devices. Experiments are performed in live and video documents are projected during the courses. They are full part of the course contents.
Effective presence at the practical works is mandatory and will be checked.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

The theoretical course is face-to-face with active participation of the students for the solving of exercices. Much more active participation of the students is expected for the practical works.
