Learning unit contents
The course of General Physics II covers the following fields : electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, atomic physics, nuclear physics.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The goal of the course is to learn some new fundamental concepts, related to different Physics fields, and that are relevant for students in Biology and Geography.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory related to different parts of the course are organised (schedule communicated at the beginning of the academic year).
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
Course : 4 hours a week. Laboratories and exercices : the schedule will be available at the beginning of the period. The participation to the laboratories is MANDATORY.

Book : PHYSIQUE by H. Benson (De Boeck Editor, vol. 2-3), . The slides and exercices are available on the WEB platform of the course.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course ends in December. The exam takes place in January and is made of 3 parts :(i) oral exam : theory, (ii) writing exam : exercices and (iii) practical exam : laboratories.
Presentation of the ULG-ID card is asked at each part of the exam. The attendance to each of the three parts of the exam is mandatory. Any student who is not physically present at one of these part will be automatically declared as "Absent" to the exam.
Any request for a transfer of note should be addressed to the Secretary at the beginning of the period and, if approved, must be validated by the student (signature) to be officially taken into account.
