At the end of this course, the student will be able to edit a Greek or a Latin papyrus.

Prerequisites: Bachelor's level abilities in ancient languages and literature, classics orientation, and specially in the course Introduction to literary papyrology.
Recommended programme components: Papyrology and Greco-Roman literature, Introduction to documentary papyrology, Ancient Greek and Latin palaeography.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Edition des papyrus littéraires et documentaires grecs et latins
The seminar will include: 1. Regular presentation and sharing of results of student research (oral presentation of the current state of a project, description of problems encountered); 2. Participation (including written reports) in scientific activities within the university and outside it; 3. Writing and editing for publication in a scientific journal of some critical reviews of recent work in the area chosen by the student, on in an ancillary field; 4. Specific research work leading to completion of an end-of-studies paper.
