Assessment methods and criteria

1) Students will have to take one vocabulary test. They will have to translate isolated words from French to Dutch. If they fail during the year (less than 10/20), they will have to retake this test at the written exam. The test represents 20% of the written exam.
Oral and written exam at the end of the year.
2) The written exam will be composed of grammar (+-30%) and vocabulary (+-30%) exercises, as well as a writing exercise (+-20%). The written exam represents 75% of the final note.
3) The oral exam will consist in a dialog between two students about topics dealt with during the classes. It represents 25% of the final note.
ATTENTION: students have to suscribe for the oral exam (in class or by mail). If they don't, they are not allowed to take the exam. Remember also that an absence to one of the parts of the exam = 0 for all parts of the exam.
