Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The purpose of the course is threefold:

- allow students to follow and take notes of short oral presentations.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Students will also be given several written assignments and have to do oral presentations during the year. Their regular and active participation in class sessions is essential and will be taken into account in the final grade.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)
The in-class course is taught for two hours a week from September to May.
Recommended or required readings
The coursebook Advanced English for Computing is compulsory. If necessary, students can also purchase the Grammaire de Base de l'Anglais (with exercises and key) ISLV, written in French. It is available at the Point de Vue (on the Sart Tilman campus).

Continuous assessment based on students' written assignments, oral presentations and active participation, which accounts for 5 marks of the final grade.

Cette irrecevabilité est d'application non seulement pour l'examen de 1 ère session mais aussi pour celui de la seconde session. Le stage organisé dans le cadre du cursus n'entre pas en ligne de compte pour le calcul des 30%
