Study of the main tissular groups: - Epithelial tissues - Connective tissues - Muscle tissues - Nerve tissues - introduction to the study of the lymphoid organs
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This course aims to introduce basic knowledges in histology and to establish relations between tissular structure and its functions.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
General biology, basic chemistry and physics.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
5 on-line practical cursus are organised (MOOC) and followed by presentiel courses.
A preparatory test is organized.

Written examination on the theory and on views of histological slides .

Organizational remarks
Realisation of the on line practical course and participation to presentiel course are mandatory.
Medical certificates must be rendered within 72H to Mme Defaweux, 1st assistant: Department of Histology, B36, +4 (Tour of Pharmacy).
On-line work iis validated by a result of 70% to the final QUIZZ. This must be done before 10h of the day before the presential course. This validation will be controled. The non realization of the on line work will be considered as non justified absence.
