Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

The course offers an introduction to the role and the position of external interveners in organizations and thus, to the nature of the triangular relationships « external intervener - client - company members ». Such reflexions are deepened during the whole academic year according to the evolutions of the project, the position and roles of students in companies. An individual coaching is provided on these topics, in order to favor the permanent interaction between students,  project managers and stakeholders concerned. The coaching sessions offer the opportunity to discuss the practical conditions of the intervention in companies, the development of the project as well as the way in which students can manage their relations with the different actors in companies.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The course invites students to take distance from the organizational reality they discover, to position themselves in power relationships, to manage unexpected events, to manage their stress, to adopt assertive attitudes and to develop an autonomous way of thinking. It mainly aims at learning reflexivity and acquiring ethical and socially responsible behaviours.
