Learning outcomes of the learning unit

To learn some elements of operations research.
After completing the course the student is expected to - formulate a linear, non-linear, scheduling or multicriteria programming problem, - solve a problem with a software, - correctly interpret the results given by a software.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic skills in computer science and mathematics, for example :  INFO2037-1- Introduction to computer science and MATH0068-1 - General mathematics (first part)
