Learning unit contents

The course comprises 10 lessons dealing with fundamental aspects of sports (task analysis, classification...) as well as technical and tactical aspects of the sports proposed in the practical courses (part 2) (volleyball, gymnatics). The emphasis is especially set on the description of the specific sport skills as well as on the acquisition of competences in task analysis.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

  • To develop the theoretical bases concerning the sport activities proposed during the practical courses.
  • To prepare the students to acquire a systematic analysis' approach of the physical and sport activities.
  • To propose the bases of task analysis (error identification and correction approaches).

Ex-cathedra lectures, problem solving, "homeworks"...

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

One session is organised per week according to the timetable provided to the students at the beginning of the academic year.

Recommended or required readings

A pdf version of the slides and documents used during the theoretical lessons is posted on the myULg's portal. In addition, the students will have to seek other information, according to recommendations' of the course's leader or his assistants.

Assessment methods and criteria

The first semester's content is assessed in January by written exam (opened and/or closed ended questions concerning all chapters).
