Teaching in the second semester

Units courses prerequisite and corequisite

Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

The course will be focused on physiological and morphological differentiations in microorganisms. The selected examples will be discussed in the context of the microorganism's ecological niche and molecular mechanisms will be detailed. Phenomenon related to bacterial dormancy, and secondary metabolite production will be presented, amongst others.
