Learning unit contents

This course module is one of the six modules of the "executive master in transport and logistics", which is taught in collaboration with the University of Danang (Vietnam), and of which the courses also take place at the University of Danang.
In particular this course module focuses on three subjects: (1) traffic modelling, (2) network managements, and (3) location decisions of companies (warehouses, selling points)

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The main objective of this course is to establish a basic understanding of the demand for transport and its implications for network management, and the relationships between social economic activities, the transport network, and the resulting impact patterns.

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning)

The modules are taught during intensive lecture weeks organized per module (face-to-face) at the University of Danang (Vietnam)

Assessment methods and criteria

The final outcome is a research paper focusing on the interactions between the transport sector (T), the activities (A), and the impact (I).
