| This class is about diversity and devotes considerable attention to the problems of prejudice and discrimination toward diverse groups. We will also discuss some solutions to these problems; we will describe research on techniques for improving intergroup relations in different ways. This class goes beyond prejudice and discrimination to emphasize how an understanding of diversity offers unique insights and opportunities to better prepare people for a diverse society. | ||||||||
