| Evolution and diversity of primates. Taxonomy, ecology, reproduction and development. Social structure, cooperation and competition, conflict regulation and resolution.
Socio-ecology and socio-biology of primates. Inter-specific interactions, conservation and management. Cognitive capacities in natural environment. |

| Emphasis on diversity in primates, from taxonomy, social structures and organizations, to cognitive capacities. Develop a comparative approach between human and non-human primates. Realize a bibliographical synthesis and a taxonomic card. | ||||||||

| Readings of reference texts, writing and presentation of thematic summaries, attending the one-day Belgian group for Primatology meeting and Journée Faune in Gembloux, recording exercices of primates behavioral data.
Illustrated talks, supervising observational exercices as well as individual essais. |

| One complete day will be needed for the BGP meeting, and two-other consecutive days for the observational session that will take place in the Koln Zoo. We are hoping for financing, but in the worst of the cases, the budget would be 80 Euros covering train and lodging. This is also possible to keep the budget lower by sharing cars. The price for one night including the breakfast and a supper is about 37 . The dates are to be arranged betwen us. | ||||||||
