| The purpose of this course is to address specific topics related to the clinical practice in psychology of aging (Assessment, clinical issues, therapeutic approaches).
The selected topics may change from one year to another, depending on articles recently published in the literature. The course also allows to deepen certain topics that were only superficially approached in previous classes. Finally, some themes are chosen for their relevance of being addressed at the end of the student training course (notably because they can benefit from the experience gained during their training course). |

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

| The aim of this course is not only to complete the students' knowledge on clinical psychology of aging, but also enable them to acquire a distanced and critical view of researches in particular linking research and clinic. The student must be able to question the way he "manages" certain clinical situations. | ||||||||

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

||||||||
| Students must have completed the courses in psychology of aging and preferably to have done an internship on this theme. | ||||||||

- Presentation of articles by groups of students or a single one (this depends on the number of students participating in this course) |

Assessment methods and criteria :

| The assessment takes into consideration the following elements:
- Oral presentation of the student's synthesis on the topic that he has addressed in his bibliographical research: quality of the presentation (in terms of both content and form). The presentation lasts 1 hour and is followed by an exchange of questions and answers. Classroom attendance: attendance (mandatory) + active participation -Written report of +/- 20 pages on the topic discussed. |
