Learning unit contents :
Ecological engineering is concerned with ecosystem management, creation with and/or for biodiversity . We will consider how ecological theory is used for facilitating EI. Planification, ethics and funding of EI projects will be assesed through case studies, field visit and conferences.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit :
At the end of the teaching, you should be able to : - Assess the integrity of an ecosystem and its biodiversity - Propose a EI strategy taking into account financial, ethics and societals opportunities.
