Learning unit contents :

The lecture aims at introducing the fundamental concepts of control and energy management in modern clean propulsion systems (including hybrid electric and fuel cell powered vehicles).

Learning outcomes of the learning unit :

Knowledge of fundamental concepts of thermal and electrical energy management in ICE, EV and HEV vehicles

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

Fundamentals in internal combustion engines, electric motors, EV and HEV vehciles

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

Lab works : Programming of ECU and HCU, Energy management (PRIUS, Hybrid bench), ECU programming (Yamaha, ELWE bench)
