| The different events that make up this course aim to accompany the construction of the professional student project.
This is the second course of the device "Professional Development of Speech therapist" present throughout the Bachelor. Unlike the course during the first Bachelor, in the present "Positionnemment" declination, the profession is here seen through the skills of the speech therapist. Indeed, whatever the working condition in which the speech therapist, speech therapists all have common skills : prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, professional relationship, expertise. These are five skills that will be addressed through a variety of learning activities. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| Through various learning activities, this course helps the student 1) Identify prevention devices ; 2) Identify the stages of an evaluation procedure and professional attitudes mobilized; 3) Collect basic information; 4) Identify the steps of a procedure for speech therapy and professional attitudes mobilized; 5) Take into account the opinions of peers; 6) Communicate correctly 7) Identify principles based on the profession 's code of ethics; 8) Create a representation of the profession of speech therapist ; 9) Be in a process of self-assessment ; 10) Identify the functions and usefulness of research for speech therapy practice ; 11) Identify the relevant sources of information. | |||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| Different activities will be implemented : 1) plenary sessions on the five skills of the speech therapist; 2) a visit in the fieldwork; 3) a video of a fictitious history background performed by the student; 4) debriefing sessions on the field visit and the history background video. | |||||

Assessment methods and criteria :
|
|||||
| The assessment criteria will be announced during the first session of the course.
The student must : (1) have completed the visit on the fieldwork and get maximum a criterion "to improve" in the evaluation completed by the speech therapist that welcomes the student; (2) have been completed the consent form for the fictitious patient background history video. If one of these two conditions is not present, the student will receive a deficiency noted in the first session. If the situation occurs again in the second session, the student will receive again a failure in the second session. The student must also make a written individual work which instructions will be announced during the course. It includes the following sections: (1) Topics related to each skill (specified during the course); (2) Links between critical learning Novice Level and courses of 1st Bachelor and/or 2nd Bachelor; (3) Video fictional history and self-assessment carried out in pairs. The written report, failure to sections on the fundamentals of the course and identified as such will result in a maximum failure rating (7/20). Note about spelling: if the report for the first session contains more than 10 spelling errors, it will be rejected and must be resubmitted in the second session. If the report submitted in the second session contains more than 10 spelling errors, 2 points will be removed from the student's final mark for the course. |

*Second session The activities will only be organized once on the dates that will be communicated at the beginning of the year. There will therefore not be any event (skills) organized between the exam sessions of January and August/September. |
