| In the master in History of Art and archaeology, Archaeometry orientation, the subject of the thesis has to be linked to the teaching of the Avanced Study Path and its optional courses in the field of physic or material science.
The thesis is original and personnal, linked to laboratories researches, museum objects or archaeological studies and also a correct and critical use of scientific litterature. |

| To be able to produce a publication of a scientific level with references and personal analysis. | ||||||||

Prerequisite knowledge and skills :

| A good experience of bibliographical tools and general knowledge in archaeometry | ||||||||

Planned learning activities and teaching methods :

| The student is coached by the laboratory team. | ||||||||

Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :

| The subject is choosen after a discussion with the future promotor. During the research, the regular presence of the student is essential. He has eventually to participate to the researches in laboratories, museums or archaeological sites.
In master 1, the student has to define his research project before october 30 th and in master 2, the deadline is the same to know the title of the thesis. |
