Course contents :
After a brief review of the normal neuro-development of a young child and his/her interactions with the environment, the lecture will successively consider the definition of the neurodevelopmental disorders and in particular in the case of cerebral palsy. Various aspects related to orthopedics, epilepsy, neuro-visual disorders, dyspraxia, difficulties in communication and particularities of the cognitive development are examined. The lecture focus also on psychopedagogical apporaches in child and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Clinical situations and videogram are presented to illustrate
Learning outcomes of the course :
The student will acquire a basic knowledge about the functioning of a cerebral palsied child/adolescent. He/she will also acquire some useful references to support the development of those persons
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
A general knowledge about the disabilities is recommended
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Presentations with PPt, videograms and discussion, presentations of clinical situations, exchanges with  professionals. Further the student is asked to perform a practical and theoretical work on a specific topic to be agreed by the teacher.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
Lectures in presence with various interactions; active particpation of the student
