Course contents :

| The purpose of this course is to show the interest of the analytical methods for the caracterisation of cultural heritage objects. The main technqiues used will be explained: optical (IR, visble, UV), X-rays (fluorescnece, radiography) and particles (ion beam analysis, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy). Case studies in the different fields will be explaines (pigment, metal, glass,...). | |||||||||||||||||
