| During the year 2015-2016, the course will be dedicated to the study of relationships between "Emotion and history". On the basis of a recontextualisation of the theory of the emotions of Sartre and of his texts in situation of the 1950s (which had been the object of the course during the previous years), it will be a question, on one hand, of studying the historic and intellectual conditions of what we could call a "political anthropology of emotions" from the 1930s, in the crossing of Mauss and Freud. Besides Sartre, the works of Adorno, Elias, Benjamin, as well as that of Lucien Febvre in France, will be considered for a first state of the question. It will, on the other hand, involve of studying the way this political anthropology of the feelings in Sartre gives the possibility of a new historiography, other forms of situated history. In this context, the analyses of Sartre will be compared with the methodological frames proposed by the first and the second generation of the School of Annales (Febvre, Braudel). | |||||||||||
