| The goal of this course is to reach a better understanding of training philosophies in their broadest meaning.
The challenge is to encourage students to apply a systemic approach to training, through pedagogic and didactic reflection. Training philosophy in this context covers both organizational and public training philosophies. In addition to the lectures themselves, trainers, political leaders and human resource managers will participate in the course by sharing and discussing their vision with the students. |

Learning outcomes of the course :

| This course aims at helping students to position themselves as thinkers, critics and participants regarding the questions of philosophies of adult training. The various objectives aim at allowing students to transition from logical thinking, based on pedagogical engineering, to a broader reflection on the philosophy of training, i.e. a realization of the systemic challenges of training.
Training philosophy in this context covers both organizational and public training philosophies. More specifically, the course aims at teaching students to:

| Participation in a one-day workshop with (depending on the year) political actors, individuals responsible for the organization of training sessions, or trainers. | ||||||||||||||

| The course takes place during the first quarter. It includes sessions of an hour and a half as well as the organization of debates or one-day workshops. | ||||||||||||||

| Student evaluations are based on the study of cases that include dealing with several types of problems: the analysis of tensions and agreements between the challenges/goals of the individuals in charge (collective strategy) and the challenges/goals of the participants (individual strategy), the tools that need to be built or setup, the training philosophy used and its potential results. | ||||||||||||||
