Course contents :

||
| The literature of the XIXth and XXth centuries will be presented through its main movements and schools, as well as through its main authors. It will be brought reported to what saw it being born : a society, a history, an institution. A thorough and methodical analysis will be reserved for the period which goes from 1800 till 1960. In accompaniment of the course, the students will have to read a list of striking works of the two centuries, about which they will be questioned. | ||

The mark of the midterm exam in January will count for 5% of the June final mark if > or = 10/20 (the mark will have no effect on the final grade if it doesn't reach 10/20). Please note that the final exam for this course is cumulative. |
