Course contents :
General introduction to literary theory. Origin and history of the discipline. Survey of the major tendencies and recent developments.
Learning outcomes of the course :
Providing the students with a basic knowledge of the various tendencies and methodologies in literary studies.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
A sufficient command of French.

Lectures, based on powerpoint presentations.
