Course contents :
  • CEFRL level of the course : B1 / B1+

Study of the vocabulary and the main chapters of Dutch grammar through grammar (drill) exercises, reading, writing, speaking and listening activities.
Learning outcomes of the course :
This is the second year of an optional programme. The final objective is written and oral practice of everyday Dutch.
The second part focuses on a basic knowledge of Dutch grammar and vocabulary.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
A basic knowledge of oral and written Dutch is required (see description 1st year).
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Reading and listening comprehension, grammar and vocabulary exercises, debates, written assignments, etc.
Mode of delivery (face-to-face ; distance-learning) :
3 hours every week It is possible to follow @lter Basic at the same time.

Assessment methods and criteria :
Oral and written exam at the end of the year. The written exam will be composed of grammar and vocabulary exercises, as well as reading, listening and writing exercises. The oral exam will be about the different files seen during the year (content + vocabulary) + a text chosen by the student (3 pages, min. 01/07/2015).
