Course contents :
German-French translation exercises on technical, technological and/or scientific documents.
Learning outcomes of the course :
Get the students used to the style and terminology peculiar to all kind of technical, technological and/or scientific documents.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
Good understanding of source language and excellent knowledge of target language, prerequisite skills in translation and information retrieval.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods :
Assisted translations, done individually or in groups, face-to-face or as homework, revision/proofreading, introduction to dedicated glossary.

Assessment methods and criteria :
End-of-term exam (70%): translation of 300-600 source words. Three additional tests during the year (30%): translation/revision of 300-600 source words and/or glossary.
