| LCA part
This course aims to place life cycle analysis in the scope of environmental assessment tools for management. It includes three parts: LCA stakes and uses, introduction to methodology; elements for a critical reading of a LCA Part : Studies on Environment Impact Assessment (EIA): This course aims to inform about the tools of environmental impact assessment and impact studies. The course consists of three parts: historical backgrounds and legislative framework, review of the content and methodology of EIA and critical reading of published examples of EIA |

| LCA PArt
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: - to order and afollow up LCA: define information needs about product life cycle; define broad methodological outlines; use LCA results for managerial decision and follow up - to work in team at a LCA project Part : EIA After this course the student will be able to: - Position as sponsor or take active part in an EIA; identify the information needed about a project; define the outline of the process and the EIA table of contents; assess the validity and relevance of an EIA carried out with regards to environmental issues; extract environmental results in a management perspective... - Participate within a team to an EIA. |
