Course contents :

| The main part is Town and Country Planning Law and, when needed, related matters as Natura 2000, Cultural heritage, Soil pollution, Takings. We also have a glance at the State Real Estate Law.
We focus on black letter Law. Main chapters: Planning, permits, information, sanction, compensation for regulatory takings. A new Code has been enacted by parliament (Official Gazette, September 15, 2014: "Décret du 24 avril 2014 abrogeant les articles 1er à 128 et 129quater à 184 du Code wallon de l'Aménagement du Territoire, de l'Urbanisme, du Patrimoine et de l'Energie et formant le Code du développement territorial") but it is not still in force and new drafts are now in preparation. So, the course focuses on both positive law and forthcoming evolution. |
