Course contents :
Introduction to the principles of intellectual property law in the fields of information and communication.
* law (definition, relation between law language and culture)
* intellectual property law:
- definitions,
- historical approach,
- traditional media,
- new media;
* economic approach to copyrights;
* fundamental notions;
* patrimonial rights ;
* moraux rights;
* protection of rights;
* management of rights.
Learning outcomes of the course :
Understand the notion of intellectual property, developing the ability to correctly identify issues related to IP.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
The course on Communication Law (COMU0012-1, 2d year BA degree)
