Learning outcomes of the course :
This course gives an overview of the functionnal properties of the micro-organisms and their use at an industrial level.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- to understand function of micro-organisms
- to propose alternatives to the chemical synthesis by exploiting the potentialities of the micro-organisms
Prerequisite knowledge and skills :
Knowledges in general microbiology, taxonomy,organic chemistry and biology.
